My Tattoos series

I have been thinking about sharing my tattoos. I firmly believe that a tattoo should have meaning for you. It doesn't have to have profound meaning, but it should mean something. I think that time should be spent checking out tattoo artists. They all have different styles, and attitudes. Pick the right one for you. I have gone to Jennifer Moore at Sanctuary Tattoo for all of mine. I have four tattoos, and I have a few more I would like to get.
I think I will go backwards, and in this post I will share my current tattoo. I got this in the beginning of October.

This is my most visible tattoo. I wanted it on my arm so I could see it everyday.
This is actually part of a song. The band is Switchfoot, and the song is called C'mon, C'mon. Every time I hear him sing these lyrics, it stirs me up and gives me goosebumps.
It means to me, not to take any moment for granted, and live your life to the fullest. It inspires me to go after my passions. The whole song means so much.
 LYRICS:
You've been living life like it's a sequel
and your already bored with the plot
as if the cast and the score
are more money than before
But the script and the backdrop are stock

We've got the rest of our lives to regret
All the words that were said here tonight
but i bet that the morning, in the morning
You'll find us in bloom

So C'mon C'mon C'mon
Let's not be our parents
Oh C'mon C'mon C'mon
Let's follow this trough
Oh C'mon C'mon C'mon
Everything's waiting

We will rise with the wings of the dawn
When everythings new [2x]

Ever size up with summer sun?
Let these songs awaken the dawn
Let us beathe every breath
like a breath to be kept
Let us breathe it all in till it's gone

We've got the rest of our lives to live out
All these dreams we stay up tonight talking about
In the morning, start hoping, to not be too soon

So C'mon C'mon C'mon
Let's abandon this darkness
Oh C'mon C'mon C'mon
Let's follow this through
Yeah so C'mon C'mon C'mon
Everything's waiting
We will live like fire and gold
when everything's new [8x]

Tattoo too

So I have picture! This has to be my easiest tattoo I have gotten. It was uncomfortable for the first few minutes, but then I was fine, chatting, and the time just flew. The next day was that bad, and even now it's not that bad. I don't want to rub anything against it, but it's healing.

Yay!! I had a great time at the Fryeburg fair yesterday. The pictures will have to wait for a seperate post, becase there is a bunch. A lot necessary animal shots. Love it!

Have some fun today!

Tattoo!

So I went to the wonderful Sanctuary tattoo, and got a new tattoo. This will be my fourth, yup my fourth. I have been so pleased with all the tattoos I have gotten there. I have had the same tattoo artist from the beginning .
I have seen work other people of gotten other places. Some very beautiful stuff out there. I think at some point I might try another artist, but I am very loyal. BUT there are some styles out there that other artists do that really catch my eye.
I will share a picture soon as I can of my latest.
I think about doing some posts based on my other tattoos, interested, curious? let me know. Also how do you feel about tattoo artists? Do you have one you go to all the time, or some of the time? Or are your tattoos from a bunch of really  good artists?

Have some fun!

Little sister!

I can't start this day without recognizing this is the day, my little sister was born. 17 years ago, my sister was born. I have to laugh, to call her my little sister. She is probably 5, 6 inches taller than me.

She was born when I was 10, and then I moved down to southern Maine when she was 10. Unfortunately I didn't get to spend a lot of time with her through most of her teenage years. I have taken her surfing, and she went with us to Salem last year. I have visited her in the summer. I call, and I have written, but being a teenager can be pretty busy. So we haven't stayed connected that well. I wish I could spend more time with her.
She likes to cook, is looking for a job, runs a treadmill every morning, and likes to hike. She has some piercings, hasn't gotten her driver's license yet, and graduates next year. She has mentioned she wants to get tattoos and I just hope she thinks about what she really wants on her forever, and she finds a good tattoo artist. I have thought about taking her with me, when I get one done. She will be 18 next year, and could do as she wants. I have seen some really awesome tattoos, and really awful tattoos. She is my sister, I want to see her get some awesome work done. I got off on a tangent. Any ways!

Happy Birthday to my little sister!!!
